How the rating works

An airline's total score (index) consists of individual evaluations of an airline's performance (indicators). The evaluation indicators are related to most of the issues passengers are interested in when selecting an airline. Obviously, the set of the indicators is dynamic, and it has to match the criteria of local demand.

The final result of an airline is counted according to a special formula. The rating calculation mechanism includes both the total number of votes and the quality of the evaluations that make it up.

The formula of the rating: Rating= (V/(V+M)) х R + (M/(V+M)) х C

R - total score (index) of the rating
V - the number of votes for an airline on a certain criterium
M - the threshold of votes
R - the arithmetic mean of all the votes for an airline on a certain criterium
С - the average rating of all airlines
